Last weekend I performed at San Deigo “Comic Con” (which is the biggest Comic Book Convention in the US)! But not just any performance….I PERFORMED ON A BOAT!!!
It was a story yacht, full of people and free drinks! I dont remember to much of that night (thank you bartender) but I do know that we KILLED the show…my first time ever rapping on a boat! So AWESOME!
Every year, when a team gets really hot in the playoffs someone always says “Thats my team!” or “I always knew they would win!”….well I want a record of everyones predictions here on my blog…so if someone predicts the Atlanta Hawks, and they actually win…you can look like a genius!
So in the comment section….put your predictions….who do you think is going to win the 2010 NBA Championship??
2 nights ago I performed at the LEGENDARY SOBs in New York City! It has been one of the major highlights of my career so far, just because of how legendary SOBs is to music, not just hip hop. I walked the halls backstage and saw old posters of Kanye, Common, and many others, promoting their SOB shows back when they were trying to get put on and it just made me feel like I am one step closer to greatness!
It was a GREAT night! Dame Dash, Terry Urban, XXl, Vibe, Universal Music, Def Jam and MANY more all had reps in the audience! It was a night I will never forget!!
Here are some photos from my shoot with the United + Taken Clothing Line in San Francisco last week. The U+T staff are all maaaadd coool…and are now sponsoring the rest of my Like a Kid Again Tour!! Catch me on stage, catch me in United Taken!
In honor of me going on my very first tour, I linked up with the good people over at CloudKickers to collaborate on a the OFFICIAL “Like a Kid Again” tour t-shirt!!!
This is so AMAZING…and lets me know just how far Ive come. Pretty fuckin awesome!!
Here is the new (and final) artwork for my project “The Audition EP”!!!
The reason why I chose to change the artwork is because I felt the previous artwork was too safe. No one was mad at it. No one said “what the fuck is this?” Anyone can have a picture of themselves with text, and for a second I let myself fall into the norm.
Ive recorded over 40 songs since the release of the first artwork and tracklisting, and the entire project has gone in a different direction. It shows more of my personality than anything Ive ever done, and the artwork needed to showcase my personality as well. I truly, 100%, without a doubt believe that “The Audition” will be one of the top 10 projects of 2010! I really want to say top 5, but the blogosphere would go CRAZY….lol. But Ive put A LOT of work into this project. Its hip hop! More hip hop than anything Ive done prior….and on March 23rd, everyone will get to judge for themselves!
