This picture pretty much sums up the game to a great degree, if you don’t understand, we weren’t watching the same game. No comments on today’s officiating, too bad the NBA has such a stronghold that nothing will be said. Lakers in 6, which I’ve been saying, but I don’t care to see a loss anyway. That is all.
A Night to Remember (SOBs in NYC)

2 nights ago I performed at the LEGENDARY SOBs in New York City! It has been one of the major highlights of my career so far, just because of how legendary SOBs is to music, not just hip hop. I walked the halls backstage and saw old posters of Kanye, Common, and many others, promoting their SOB shows back when they were trying to get put on and it just made me feel like I am one step closer to greatness!
It was a GREAT night! Dame Dash, Terry Urban, XXl, Vibe, Universal Music, Def Jam and MANY more all had reps in the audience! It was a night I will never forget!!
I Witnessed History

Last night, me and MyFavoritePersonInTheWorld went to see the Lakers play the Bobcats. May not seem like a game of any relevance, especially in February, but it was a game only 20,000+ were able to experience in person. I was SUPER happy to be one of them.
No one wouldve guessed that Phil Jackson would continue coaching after the glory days in Chicago unraveled. No one wouldve guessed that he would come to the Lakers and win a championship his first year. And not ONE person couldve guessed that not only would Phil STILL be the coach of the Lakers (10 years and 6 finals appearances later) but that he would become the GREATEST COACH IN LAKER HISTORY (in regards to wins).

“always try and break away from the pack to find a different angle” – Luke Sharrett
Posted: January 20th, 2010 | Author: KirstinLorin | Filed under: Art, History, Obama, Photography | No Comments »Luke Sharrett, a photojournalism major from Western Kentucky University, went all the way to Washington last year this day to try and capture and witness the inauguration of now President Obama. Problem, dude wasn’t able to get in. With the millions crowding to see this historic event and without proper credentials, left him with a non favorable position.
Turning this sour positioninto an opportunity, he went around the city to record it and captured the vibe of the city during this day. Now Luke’s an intern in The Times’s Washington bureau and decided there to do a contrast with then and now. The difference, not much, besides the amounts of foot traffic and trash, the place is much the same. Luke added an analogy saying “As we begin the second year of Mr. Obama’s presidency,” he said, “it seems that hope and change are harder to come by than we thought.”

This guy had all our backs, we should all do him a favor and try to make this a better world. People like him are the reason why I’ve been able to date the Black chicks I have, thanks Dr. King.
